i'm sick and tired of that van that green 1991 chevy minivan with very tinted windows standing in front of my house where my favorite parking spot is right near my garage. it has not even been moved even once in 4 months. my brother is always home he also says he never seen it been moved in 4 months. i called the cops twice they checked it out the first time and nothing happend. then i called 2nd times they didn't even check it out. i don't want to call towing because i don't want to pay for it it's not my car. should i break into the car and start it with the wires? should i get a few people to help me move it? what should i do? btw last year i had a old benz stand in the same spot for like 6 months until cops realized it was stolen and took it away. i think this one is stolen too but nobody wants to take it.

Check with your local Code Enforcement to see if it's in violation of any codes. If that's the case, then it can be towed by the city.

If its on YOUR property, then check to see what is required for you to be able to get rid of it. For example, your county may require a message posted in your local paper such as "1991 green Chevy minivan on private property, tag # NY 123ABC. Will be sold by property owner in "X" days unless moved." After the required number of days wait, then you can claim it and sell it.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to move it yourself. Then YOU could be arrested for Grand Theft Auto.

Good luck
