Big bird ~ because you can't eat elmo.

I do believe I've wanted to do something bad to Big Bird since I first laid eyes on him at age 2 (in 1970). He has always been for me the most annoying character, because he constantly intrudes on other characters' "space" without being aware of it. I mean, Ernie's the best there is at annoying people, but he's aware of it and delights in it, which I can at least respect. He's like an Anansi-style trickster figure. Big Bird is more like Dr. Phil without the tough talk--yuck.
Elmo wasn't around when I was little. He annoys me too, but I recently heard a radio interview with the guy who voices him, and i thought he was great. So for now I'll reserve judgment on the red falsetto monster.

big bird...i luv elmo hes a great singer and he actually cares for others like his goldfish...elmo helped me learn how ta song, while big bird is just a dipshit with a fat *** lol
