It either really scared you, or made you sick, etc ... something beside the fact that it wasn't a good movie.

What was it?

Am I the only one that laughed to the point of nearly peeing them at the retardedness that was The Exorcist?

The Changling, a late 70's early 80's ghost story. George C. Scott was in it. It wasn't really graphic or anything, just creeped me out big time. This was in the middle of the afternoon in my living room. I also walked out of Silence of the Lambs when it was in theaters, I was 13 years old. It took me quite a while to be able to watch the whole thing (the book freaked me out more). When I went to Event Horizon in the theater I literally kept my eyes covered for about 95% of the movie. I'm not usually at all skiddish, these particular movies just really gave me the "wiggins". Funny how that works.

...funny, I purchased the film years ago, first as a barely-watchable fourth or fifth generation bootleg VHS tape; then it was released and distributed officially on tape by a company called Film Threat. Finally, years later, I bought the film (and it's subsequent sequel) on DVD....

...AND I'VE NEVER WATCHED THE FILM, BECAUSE IT WAS JUST PLAIN WRONG TO WATCH IT, ESPECIALLY ALONE!!!

...that film is the nasty little 1987 hardcore sex/horror import from Germany, entitled "Necromantik"; the synopsis dictates that it is a sweet, but nasty & gory little swaree, involving a love triangle between a guy, a girl.....and a corpse!!!

I'm sure that Ringling Brothers had freaks in their circus, too; they may not have looked at them a whole heck of a lot, if not at all....but they had them...

...if anything, "Necromantik" makes for a great conversation piece!!!

If I had to name on movie that really scared me and that I had to stop watching, it would have to be "The Exorcist". I first saw it when I was about 11 years old. It was televised and edited but I never got through the whole thing and I couldn't sleep for about 2 weeks. I can watch it now with no problems but back then...NIGHTMARES FOR DAYS!!!!!!

So far there hasn't been a horror film that I haven't been able to watch, although I did struggle with the realism of Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood. Some of the effects are so realistic that many people who saw it (including a certain famous actor who I won't mention here) believed it to be a snuff film.

"The Audition"

It was about a middle age man finding a partner after his wife's death, and audited a soft-spoken girl who turned out to be a serial murderer.

It was so gross that (I didn't watch it myself, hearsay) some patrons walked out of the theatre, and some vomitted! Eks! That's sick!
