I've heard that women experience more nausea when they're pregnant with a boy. Does anyone know if this is true? I am seven weeks pregnant with my first baby. Any advise would be much appreciated.

no. I wasnt rarely nauseated with my son. i was only nauseated with one of my girls really. Each pregnancy is different. I listened to the old wives tales, and each time it was different, only one of my girls was right. I would just wait for your ultra sound or for when the baby comes to beleive what you are having.

I believe that is a myth. However with my first two children I had no nausea and they were both boys. Im having a ton of trouble with the third one. Although this does not mean its a girl. It would be nice if it were possible to tell the sex of a baby by nausea symptoms ;)

NO. In fact, there is no way to tell the sex of the baby other than an ultrasound. All the myths are just that- myths. However, I got sucked into peeing on drain-o... didn't work. I have a beautiful little girl even though the drain-o said it was a boy :)

I'm not sure if that is true or what not..but when I was pregnant with my son for the first 4 months I was soooo sick every morning. I couldn't stand to smell any kind of food cooking. I lost like 10 pounds and no one knew I was prego so they thought I was losing weight, but little did they know..lol. but once thats over with, the pregnancy is so much morer fun.

I would prove it false, then. I had nausea and morning sickness carrying my daughter and none whatsoever with my son. Sounds like an old wives tale to me.

My 1st child was a boy and I didn't have a lick of morning sickness. One of my best friends had two boys and was sick about ¾ of both pregnancies.

I'm afraid that is an old wives tale.

I say no.... my mom was sick with both me and my sister. I was never sick with my daughter.... but thought for nine months i was goinf to throw up my son!!! my grandma was sick with her 2 girls and her 2 boys. my cousin was sick with her 2 girls but not her son. my best friend was sick with her 4 sons but on her 1 girl...... it means nothing...... my only suggestion is eat a cracker befor you get out of bed and drink tons and tons of water... for some reason its the mystery cure!!!

its not true, the only way you can determin the sex of the baby is by an ultra sound.
