I have seen a man wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt and a little girl with long blonde hair and a nightgown. I used to see them both at night in a place I previously lived. They never bugged me and I never bugged them. They were peaceful and only came out at night. The only thing they used to do was to turn on the bathroom faucets, the bathtub and use the pump soap thus making a mess. I got tired of cleaning up liquid soap and replaced it with bar soap. Otherwise, we all just carried on. No "Amityville Horror" or anything. My kids saw them, too, and we all just accepted the duos nightly ritual. They stayed downstairs but one time the little girl looked upstairs but didn't climb them or anything. She was just watching me for whatever reason. When I descended the stairs, she went over by the sofa one night but our family mostly just slept through the night with no problems. The faucet and soap pranks went on in the daytime but not every day. About three times a week maybe, sometimes two.

I've been to a few places in California like the Winchester mansion and seen people that were'nt there when you double take. It doesn't feel scary just that you know that the history of their lives are somehow there and you respect it more than awe over it. Another one is an old cemetary in Old Towne San Diego when I was taking pics and felt the cold and musty smell and I took a pic and had some weird smoke on the pic. The pics before were clear before until that one pic.

no, but I saw the actions of a ghost, and I also heard a ghost.
My grandmother lived on a large property that used to be a grape vineyard. The property included the main farm house, but also a smaller guest house. It is kind of a long story, but my brothers and I saw someone or something turning a light on and off in the guest house. We assumed it was my uncle who stayed at the guest house.
We thought we would spy on our uncle, so we snuck up on the guest house, but when we got close, the light would turn off, and so we would run away. When we saw the light turn back on from a distance, again we approached, and again the light would switch off. This repeated about three or four times.
Finally, my oldest brother went up on the porch of the guest house after the light turned off. A window was open. He motioned us to come to the porch. Through the window, we could hear labored breathing, as if someone was gasping for air. We freaked out, and ran to the main house, where we went to the living room to watch TV.
A little while later, my uncle came in, saying that he lost the keys to the guest house, and was going to retrieve the spare keys. He said he had been out bowling. We told him about what we heard and saw, but he didn't believe us.
The next morning, we told our grandmother what had happened. She just laughed and said it was probably the previous owner's great grandfather, who lived in the guest house back in the 1920s. He had respitory problems and died in the guest house.

Yes ... it was ... ghostly. I lived in England and worked in the Castle Hotel. I heard the stories that it was haunted and laughed, everything is haunted over there, right? But I met it personally in the back staircase (I was a chamber maid and could only use the back stairwells, entrances, etc.) and it screamed loud laughter at me. I don't think I have ever run down a flight of stone steps (3 flights) so fast EVER. It pursued me, not only in the hotel, but around the city after that. I still see apparitions, but not so frightening and usually in my peripheral vision.

Yepp, I have. My great-grandmother died in my bedroom, and one night, when all the lights were out, I was trying to sleep, and I was getting ready to go to the bathroom, and I saw a headless figure ::: it had a yellow shirt on, and it was taking the shirt off!!! My sister saw it too!!!! It scared the living **** out of me!!!! And I have also had many more incidents with spirits in my lifetime... when I was a little girl, I even wanted to be a ghost buster!!! :)
