Depending on who is playing it, the harmonica can be a wonderful musical instrument. It was used extensively by the traditional bluesmen, including Sonny Terry. In jazz, Jean "Toots" Thielmans played it like a saxophone. In country, there is Charlie McCoy, who also does some nice blues as well as country.
