One thing you should be aware of is that not all conservatives are "god fearing" people. There happen to be many sociological, economical, and historic reasons why a person like myself would want conservative representation. Unfortunately one of the problems with the Republicans is that many of them are not really conservative. The President for example overspends and passes too much spending legislation. This is not conservatism. Newt has plenty of good ideas and his ideology isn't bad, but he lacks the kind of charisma many of us look for in a leader.
