Should I transfer my cell number to another Virgin Mobile phone with no monthly charges?

I'm buying myself a new Virgin Mobile phone with no monthly charges after my Kyocera K10 Royale phone keeps me paying monthly charges. I'm keeping my cell number that I do not need to change my number.

There is no charge to change Virgin Mobile phone models. HOWEVER, if you are going from a monthly plan to a 'pre-paid' plan, that is not a guarantee.!!
