demand higher wages and stop working for a $2 per hour?

2007-05-25 10:15:11 · 11 answers · asked by NONAME 3 in Politics & Government Politics

You see how these people assume?
"Will they be making more than you if they do? I'm sorry Ronald McDonald is such a tightwad. Maybe the Burger King will pay you more!"

I went to college, received multiple degrees and now have a government job. Thanks for playing.

Yes. When they have to give a portion of their money to the US government in taxes they definitely will want more money. They can already march and demand changes in the US as illegals, imagine what they will try to change when they are given the rights of legal citizens. We will be the United State of TexMexamerica.

No. They will just be proud they have amnesty and can even more protected under the law by the U.S. government. Besides, if you ask them the question what is better, money or freedom... I think they will probably choose freedom; otherwise they wouldn't be asking for amnesty.

Again, I don't agree with the government somehow managing to make the "fruit from the poison tree" work. You know, a cop searches you under illegal circumstances and finds evidence against you.. anything after that is considered suppressable evidence because the search started illegally.

If you start off as an illegal immigrant, it's all of a sudden "okay" to become a citizen. What's the point of fighting the war on terror if we're going to let 12 to 20 million stay, with amnesty, paying a minimal fine.. almost with no questions asked?

A question for a question... Why are these Illegal Aliens voices even being heard by our government? I voted "you" into office... you should be listening to my voice! This is just another instance of the liberal media trying to control what Americans think. People, put down your remote controls & take up a pen or start typing on your keyboards... write your congressman/woman.. let our voices rise above the hum of all the Illegal Alien's protests.

Those are the NON-criminal illegal immigrants. And no; they'll continue to work for less pay and poor working conditions so that they can bring even more of their relatives here.

The criminal ones (read: their relatives) will continue to grow pot in our national forests and kill each other and some of us while they're at it.

That would be nice. Higher wages for the lowest earners in our society mean higher wages for all of us.
