I got you. This is somewhat serious than what it looks onn the face of it. It looks as if u tried few times to come over it and could not.
So pls try below:
1. This problem might not just be limited to lying. I am sure its hurting other ways also (because this is a pyschological problem). So try doing meditation, and u will start concentrating you positive energy on your priorities... and not lying and being truthful to the extent possible should be one of your priorities. Do a regular and concious effort of being truthfull all thru the day - to carry on the momentum from the realization that happens after the meditation !!

2. If required, give urself small punishments for every lie you tell. - start writing diary and criticise ur self in that for ur lies - discuss and think about ill effects of lies - think what happens if everybody else lies with u the way u r doing - u cant believe anything and anyone.

3. Everyday, sleep after a small prayer to god to give u enough strength to live with truth and not with lies. (this is more than religious help. Sceintists say, if u do this and then sleep with this desire, ur active mind will transfer this thought to sub-concious mind after u sleep which works on it all trhu the night and helps in u achieving it.

4. Last but not the least, go for counselling (if none of the above helps.)

BEst of luck.

You must think before you start talking think carefully keep it in your head and if you get tempted into telling a lie or a tall story just take a deep breath and imagine how you are going to feel if you are found out to be lying put yourself back into a situation when you have been found out and how you felt then imagine the look of disappointment on your parents faces when they have talked to you about your problem.. It will get you into a lot of trouble honest so you really have to try nip it in the bud, you can actually get counselling for this pop into your doctors and make an appointment to c the nurse and tell her what is going on in your life you will be surprised what counselling you can get.

lying destroys relationships, will get you fired, lose friends,,,,,look in the mirro every morning,, and promise youself to get throught this one day, ,thinking before you speak,, and CHOOSE to tell the truth,, you wll feel great about it,,,lying is a self destructive disease, like drugs, kick it now,, or let it ruin your life. i ok in the mirror everyday, ( after checking the scales,) and see if I am content with myself, and my lans on how I wish to use that day,,because, I have no gauarantee of a tomorrow,,,,,lies hurt like hell, and I persoanlally would tell you to get out of my life, instantly!!

There's a word for people that constantly lie, it's called a pathological liar and it can sometimes be considered as an illness or disease. Honestly I would ask my doctor.

this isnt meant to sound patronising, but im guessing your still a teenager...right, if so then i honestly believe that as kids we all go through this phase to one extent or another, i think its all part of trying to have an identity, i think that you should try and do more daft things, go to concerts, parties, have fun, b4 u know it, you will be telling real stories and not made up ones to make yourself sound more interesting...try not to beat yourself up, its hard being a teen hun xx

Just try to remember, the bible says "thou shalt not lie".
If you tell a lie, nothing good will come from it, only bad stuff.
