I don't honestly give it a second thought. All have different tastes and styles. Some people prefer to wear suits, some tracksuits.

Huh...funny that you phrase it that way. It's actually only recently that people started wearing "comfy" clothes while flying. Taking a plane trip used to be an event, that you'd get dressed up for! The first time I saw someone in sweats on a plane was truly a bit of a shock to me!

My guess is that those people who are on the plane in "fancy-a$s" clothing have somewhere special to be very shortly after landing. I once had to go from a wedding in Southern California directly to a wedding in Northern California. I'm sure I was overdressed, but there was no other way to make it to both occasions.

Well if they had on a dress and hight heels I would be like, "Whoa. That girl is crazy. It'll be so uncomforable!" and blah blah blah. But if they have on nice earrings, yoga pants, and a sweatshirt of Tshirt then thats about normal. Thats how I dress. I usually would wear crocs or some sort of shoes like that. But you never know. People like to show off, and wheres a better place to do then an airport? LOl. Let people be people. Hey, who would we make fun of while we're waiting in line to get our luggage checked?

Not everyone is going on vacation when they are boarding on the plane. Some are going right to a convention, business meetings, or a nice dinner with friends.
I think it is wrong to assume that these people are fake or whatever just because their traveling purpose is different than yours.

They wanted to look nice. Thats all I think of when I see people dressed up for the plane. Its not my place to judge so I dont really even think about it.

I think that is absolutely classy and respectful.
That was the way it used to be. Flying was an event.
I dress nice because makes ME feel good, and can care less of what people think, if there's people who want to look like peddlers, is their business.
You sound jealous, like you don't have nice clothes to wear
I hope that, when you going to fly and wear your crappy clothes, somebody will judge you as bad as you judged them.
