Because they put it on a graduated basis you will not receive the full amount until 2010.. At that time it will be $7.25 an hour...In reality the actual increase amounts to 17.6 cents an hour for working for 12 years without a increase in the minimum wage. Thats insane ! Would you work for 12 years for a 17.6 cent an hour increase in your paycheck..1997=$5.15hr 2010 =$7.25hr. If you want to call that an increase your nuts...
