Hsue and Dennis gave the right #'s. Trivia (if you're
interested): A nautical mile is based on one second
of longitude (a second of latitude changes in footage
as you approach the N,S poles. Longitude stays the
same.) To convert knots to mph divide 6076 by 5280
times # of knots. To convert mph to knots divide 5280
by 6076 then times # of mph. Also, "knots" is a term
meaning nautical miles per hour (in case you didn't
know.)

You round it off to 2 decimal places. One knot (nautical mile per hour) is equal to 1.15 mph (statute miles).

1 knot = 1.15077945 miles

So for every knot you've travelled, multiply by 1.15077945 and you'll get the number of miles you travelled.
