Under normal circumstances, I would go with the 500 a month option. Right now I would find use for that money though (to be able to move and get a new job and travel a bit) so I might go for the 10,000.

Personally ?The £500 a month for two years - apart from the fact it adds up to £2000 more in total I think I`d be tempted to use the £10000 in one go LOL.At least if I know I`m due another monkey next month I`d feel good.

500 a month for the next 2 years. It would end up being 12,000 instead of 10,000.

£500 a month. I could live comfortably on this amount. But I would pray every day that I should live for 2 years so as to reap the benefit of the extra £2000.

I would rather have the 500 a month for two years. One, I won't spend it all at once. Two it would be more money cause 500 a month for two years would be 12000. Three, I would have the extra money a month to get what I needed.

500 a month for next two year. unless you know how to invest in stocks. Then you can make 8% on your 10,000.

well, the 2nd option give you 12thousand pounds. I cant imagine inflation would go up that much that would negate 2000pounds. I mean sure maybe you could put a deposit on a house or something with up front capital of 10 thou. But I would prefer the 500 pounds a month personally.
