By the end of this century, there will be no need for the Y chromsome component in the reproductive process and women will refuse to bear male offspring any more.

Of course not. Unless you want it to be. Don't go into a relationship believing it will last forever. It will last as long as both people want. Always be prepared for it to change and willing to set the other free. You will live a life free from anguish and probably have more love that you can imagine.
