This is a joke, right? You simply put your question in the wrong category.

"Do not ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee." -- Ernest Miller Hemingway from "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

Or as John Donne, the poet and preacher, said, "No man is an an island entire unto itself....so do not ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee."

Donne's lyrical lines in his sermons greatly influenced Hemingway as it did Thomas Merton who took his book's title, "No Man Is An Island" from the same sermon.
