Garrett Adkins, Chase Utley, Eric Byrnes, Troy Glaus, Eric Karros, Jeff Conine, Tood Zeile, Chris Chambliss, and oh yes Jackie Robinson as well as fifty other players came from the UCLA Bruins baseball program to MLB. Can you give me the name of any other college that can match the Bruins in talent.

I would have to agree USC not just because of the number but the caliber of player. Here's a few. Randy Johnson, Jeff Cirillo, Mark McGwire, Bret Boone, Fred Lynn, Tom Seaver, Geoff Jenkins. Not a bad list.

Southern Cal has had a total of 98, while Texas has had 94.

The second link provides the # of MLB players from Juco's.

BTW frizzer, I would think that the # of players going on to MLB does kind of denote overall quality. Otherwise, what is your point other than that you really like UCLA?

I see only one hall of famer on your list. What about Arizon State University? Barry Bonds, Ian Kinsler, Dustin Pedroia (sorry I'm a bias Boston fan), Chris Duffy, Reggie Jackson, Paul Lo Duca, and Larry Gura (filthy all-star pitcher late 70s early 80s).
