If I'm not mistaken there is a black plastic tube between the battery and the headlamp assembly on that car. If you just pull up on that tube it will come out and then you should have plenty of room to get your hand in there to remove the bulb. if there is no tube there then you'll have to remove the batter for access to the bulb.

there is a connector lock on the bulb and you have to release that (pull rearward on the top of the tab to release it from the clip) to get the connector off. You may also have to use a long screwdriver to push downward alternately on the sides on the connector to 'walk' the connector off if it is stuck on from age.

with the connector off you can turn the bulb counter-clockwise and remove it. look at the position of the connector when you do pull it out so you'll have a gauge on where it should line up when you put the new bulb in. Then push on the new bulb and turn it clockwise to lock it in under the tabs and reconnect the connector.

it should take about 5 minutes total. also, never touch the glass on the new bulb--handle it by the connector only or the oils from your fingers will hot spot the bulb and can cause it to burn out prematurely.
hope that answers your question

On that side, removal of the battery may be necessary. You may be able to get your hand in there if you just remove the coolant overflow tank. If the car has a security system with anti-theft radio, hook another battery to the cables before removing and you don't have to enter the security code in the radio.
