Well, for starters America is a continent, and Canada is a country.
If you mean the differences between the US (the country just south of it in America) and Canada, some are:
- Canada is still part of the British Commonwealth and is under the queen.
- Canada has a much smaller population than the US.
- Canada bills itself as more of a "mosaic" of cultures, as opposed to the US' "melting pot" reputation
- Canada allows gay marriage
- Canada has a large, largely separate French-speaking area in Quebec that is quite distinct culturally and politically from the rest of the country.
- Canada has a socialized medical system, while the US has a purely private one. Both have their faults and debate rages about which is better.

maximum folk Canadian could hate to confess it, even if our cultures are very comparable. even if, the 1st ingredient that usually seems again to strategies is our well-being care device. I even have lived in numerous provinces, I grew up in BC, on the west coast, we've the main spectacular panorama and an extremely low crime cost. Vancouver is sweet on the sea and has very easy winters, yet in basic terms some hours north you have each and every little thing from semi arid deserts to rainforest. iciness may well be a sprint extra harsh the further north you flow. we've an extremely diverse way of existence with many diverse races that stay ok jointly, this became no longer consistently so hassle-free, yet presently, have have become lots extra accepting. so a great way as coaching, it extremely is been it sluggish by way of fact I even have been at school, relies upon on what you're finding for, person-friendly/extreme college or college? There are impressive colleges and universities around the rustic. i won't talk for the different provinces with reference to their rules, even if in BC a number of the present day massive replace that are supported with the help of maximum folk is an extremely strict eating a driving regulation, the criminal shrink became decreased to .05 and in case you blow over you may doubtlessly have your motor vehicle impounded. additionally hand-held instruments which incorporate cellular telephones have been banned jointly as working a motor vehicle. keeps the roads risk-free. issues could seem a sprint extra costly right here, yet our minimum wages are lots greater too, there a great sort of booming industries so minimum salary does not could desire to be an decision. eating age is nineteen in maximum provinces. it is a spectacular place to stay, definitely everyone seems to be ordinarily kind and friendly, extra so interior the a great way west (BC and Alberta) and the East, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and New Foundland. Ontario and enormously its capital Toronto, are in all risk the main like u . s . a . of america. stable success on your flow, you would be welcomed to our us of a i'm valuable.

The differences I've noticed have been superficial, such as slightly different foods, weather, use of the metric system, etc. We're really very much alike. I've visited a few times, and my impression was always, "just like back home, but not quite" I find it interesting, because I think Canada is what America would have been like, if we never separated from Great Britain.

From a tourist point of view I've been to both and I found the Canadians more friendly and laid back than Americans, who I may add surprised me as they (the Americans) were also extremely friendly and I found to be hard working and courteous but are not as chilled out as the Canadians.
Also I found Americans to be very patriotic which sometimes I found difficult to handle but we American bash a lot and I do not think they deserve all the criticism they receive.

you have no idea what the symbol really means, if you did you would not use it, you are trash at best and a cruel evil being at worst.

There's more maple trees and pot in Canada. lol. Don't get me wrong...I'd rather live there, where people are more chill and less ignorant about history and other countries.
