I don't believe in voting. The users mostly vote for first or second answer without even reading the rest. Many good answers miss out because on that. People often forget about their question and it automatically goes for polling. I never neglect my questions.
I have chosen 99% of the best answers myself. There have been a few deb table subjects where I went for the audience poll, only because I wasn't ready to be judgmental on those subjects.

I do only in extreme circumstances. If there are just way too many that could actually be considered the best, I will let it go into voting. But the majority of the time I pick the best answer. I still have one of my questions in voting from almost a year ago. It's ridiculous.

By accident more than anything..I try to pick best answer but sometimes I ask a lot of questions and forget to pick best ans..sorry to those I missed..and I wish we could give more than just a thumbs up like a 2nd prize or something..some people's answers are very creative..

hi, because of the fact that I certainly have in no way asked a question, so none of my questions have long previous into balloting. there are no. I certainly have observed in my solutions column those that have long previous into balloting and (if I realize my very own answer) voted for myself a pair of times. Why stress approximately it?

Never! I always take the time to choose my Best Answer!! Sometimes, it's hard though to decide between a couple of them!

I have never, either. I get 3 points & I make someone feel better if their best answer is chosen by the asker

I think once or twice I forgot about a question, but I usually choose a best answer.

Yeah-inadvertently. When I was in the hospital, & when I got out, I wasn't happy at all about the rude answers being picked as best.

Yes, only because there were too many answers and I could not decide on a best answer.
