HELL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. Im a street skater and i love skating schools and everyting else the street has to offer and its pretty much banned with all the dam skate parks being opened every where to be honest as i have goten more tickets from skating the last 3 years with all the parks opening up..Why take the main thing skating has to offer away from us the freedome to skate what ever it is that we find..The world is our play ground and everything in it not just some dumb park a city built for us to play in and keep us trapt like animals...We are ment to be in public and thats just the way it should be...

Of course, the last time I was on a skate board, Powell-Peralta and Dogtown were big names and Tony Hawk was a new guy on the scene. Thrasher wasn't that old of a magazine either. Amazing how we get older and things change.

If it's not already a law, give them a few weeks and it will be added to the millions of stupid laws already in force, or a tax will be imposed on such activity, along with the necessary "skating license".

If you mean skateboarding on mall sidewalks, or store sidewalks, yes. If you don't have a skating park in your neighborhood, attend a few city council meetings and push for one to be built.
Business owners insurance does not cover injuries for skaters.

It would be easy to say ,let skateboarders have their fun! There is no way to know ,who will be responsible skaters, and who won't be.Are you talking about public parks or places such as downtown areas?
