Blockbuster is a lot better than netflix. Its the same price and all but you can take your mail order movies and exchange them in the store for a movie or video game release. I read someones comment that said she didn't have time to take her blockbuster movies back to the store. That is just an option you can mail them off just like netflix. Once you return the movie either way, they automatically send you out the next movie on your que. We started out with netflix, and the switched to blockbuster. We normally have 6 movies at a time which is great. Go to www.blockbuster.com and you can check out their services.

i recognize this is confusing - yet on the starting up of the movie, the jet engine become "meant" to have landed in Donnie's room and killed him - it did not for some reason, so some thing of the movie depicts this "tangent universe", with weird and wonderful events, and tricks that perchance some thing's no longer ideal with the international. the photos that Donnie sees, are the outcome of ripples in area-time, and are led to with the help of the corruption of the timeline. on the accurate of the movie, there's a wormhole that the jet engine travels with the help of, decrease back in time to 20-eight days in the previous, and crashes into the bedroom, killing Donnie and putting issues ideal. Frank is an imaginary buddy who classes Donnie and helps him navigate the unusual timestream - he by some potential prophesized his personal (?) demise - (or the demise of a guy named Frank wearing an same gown). This Frank died because Donnie survived the twist of destiny - on the accurate of the movie we see that considering that Donnie died, he's alive, as he's meant to be. it really is a huge confusing time-vacation paradox. Did you ever ask your self how issues might want to instruct in a special way in case you've been operating 5 minutes previous due - you may want to get hit with the help of a vehicle and be badly injured. Or in case you took the incorrect turn or made the incorrect decision sometime on your existence, how might want to or not this is different? this is a few thing like that.

I've been a Netflix user since 2003 and I have to say that I love it. I hated going to Blockbuster and still do. I know they have their own plan but who has time to run to the store to drop it off & wait for a new one? I toss the Netflix back into the mail with my work mail and in two days, I have a new movie. Plus, I don't have a Blockbuster anywhere near me.
The turnaround time is 2 days for me in LA. But my mom who lives in MI says she gets hers in 3 days. So, I guess it all depends on how close you live to a warehouse that determines the speed of the turnaround.
I have the 3-at-home plan and that's enough for me. I usually have one at home, one of the way back, and one on the way to me. They have smaller and larger plans to fit your needs.
It's definitely worth the money. You keep the movies as long as you want, they provide the mailing materials and they are a reliable service. I've also brought movies from them starting at $5.99. No more trips to Best Buy if I can help it. If you have a problem, their staff is very helpful. (My email address got tempered with and they were really great about switching the account to another email address). If movies come to you damaged, which doesn't happen often, you let them know via on their website and they will send you a new disc right away. They don't wait for you to return the DVD - they send it right out. (But you do have to return the damaged DVD).
I've had two movies get lost in the mail since joining them and they never charged me for the lost movies. Granted, they would probably charge me if more were lost. But they're understand that things get lost in the mail. My movies turned up a year later and the missing DVDs were removed from my record.
I also like Netflix because I can rate movies & leave comments from my friends and family. I've rated over 3000 movies since joining and I have no idea how many comments I have left. But my family tells me they like to read them before renting the movie. (I have different tastes from them).
I highly recommend Netflix over Blockbuster. I think a lot of it is name association. I had bad experiences with Blockbuster and not once has Netflix let me down.

If you watch a lot of movies, even the most expensive package is worth it compared to cable or going to the video store. I live very close to a distribution center, so sometimes I would get my movies in two days, so I'd have to say they are pretty fast.

I get my movies with 4-5 days of sending them back. There have been a lot of movies that I wanted to see but they did not have but I figure that with time they will start to increase the size of their inventory and include more of the lesser known films.
I seriously considered cancelling my cable and just going with Netflix. Cable just shows the same stuff over and over. The one thing that they have going for them are the series like "Penn and Teller", "The Sopranos", "Dexter", and "The Tudors".

It's definately worth it. Check out this article on "Netflix vs. Blockbuster (Total Access)" for more IN DEPTH information on both programs. Do yourself a favor by checking it out before you sign up for one of the services.

I totally dig it. $19.95 for three movies at a time, unlimited rentals per month. I live fairly close to the distribution center, too, so the turn around time is short.
