Nope. I've never had anything but fond feelings towards the UK. Also, I've lived in America my whole life, and I've never heard a single negative remark about the UK. In fact, I know plenty of people who would love to visit, but don't have the time or money. I'm sure a lot of Americans have stereotypical ideas or impressions about Brits, but they're not negative or mean spirited ones. Trust me, those who make rude remarks are in the minority, at least in places I've lived (5 states in the last 25 years) Have a nice day.

What in the world makes you think that? I'm pretty sure there are tons of British people I would not like, but then there's tons of people in my own town that are unpleasant. It's kind of the individual, not the nationality don't you think?
Anyways, I love the accents of British people (I'm sorry! I know it's a cliche). Southern accents get bland after you've lived here your whole life. And some of the more nasal accents in the US are a bit annoying. :(

and quite frankly as an American i do not understand why people think we hate brits. I personally have many brits as friends and canadian, friench, german, and italian to name a few and I have personally never meta brit i didnt like and I do not actually take note of the cultural or national limitations to my liking or disliking and there are a few Americans i do not particularly like.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, I can only assume that with the rise in anti americanism in our world lately that maybe people are starting to get a bit defensive - you know how they say the best defense is a good offense... I don't hate you!!

I think 99.9% of Americans like the Brits...the ones that don't, don't like anyone from other countries, so ignore them.
