followed from above question . now i cannot afford to pay £3000 compensation for the work she has supposed to have had done and she wants 4 months loss of rent where do i stand with this and what can i do to prove that the property was not exactly 100% for two people to be living there

This is not a News Group - Questions and Topics are not 'threaded' (i.e. we have no idea what you previous Questions was all about unless we go look for it).

So I'll take a guess - you are a Tenant who wreaked a property, got taken to Court and had to pay for the repairs ??? - in that case, you only have to pay what the Court awarded against you - and you can ask the Court for time to pay it off (you could offer to pay, say £30 per month for 100 months)

If there has been no Court case yet, then make sure you 'contest' the case - especially, can claim that the property was already wreaked, that you didn't wreak it, that it was a 'force of nature' (storm, hurricane etc), that your maximum liability == your deposit, that the Landlords Insurance should pay, that the estimates are excessive (get your own estimates). Also you only owe Rent during the time you lived there
