How do you show someone you love them?

Do you just tell them? Does it make you feel better to bestow gifts? Do you do this regularly enough to make it boring or meaningless?
Just how do you convey this all important feeling?

Just say it,show it through small kind acts,like washing the car or doing the laundry,or shave the cat....things like that.....wink

Well talk is cheap, people say many things one day then change their minds the next. Show love by action, action is stronger than words and can show someone you love them. Doing things for someone, being there, listening, talking, things like this are better than any gift you can come up with, gifts are for temporary satisfaction, and don't last.

Anyone can learn to love themselves. God's love, unconditional nurturing love, shown through others produces limitless results. I wouldn't have been able to stay in social work and working with the people society has written off if it weren't the case. Add....There are definitely people that make a decision not to love. My family and I say "I love you" pretty much every time we see each other, talk on the phone, etc. I have heard some people rationalize that they save saying "I love you" because then it means more. I think this is bunk. I love my family so much that I could have conversations where the only words exchanged are "I love you." and it would never adequately express just how much I love them. If you love someone, telling them so and often shouldn't ever diminish the power of those words. I find too many people say that they wish they would have told their loved ones how they feel more often after they're gone.
