I took two depo injections last year and haven't had a normal period since. I wanted to start trying to have a baby later this year. Should I take birth control pills to get the ball rolling? I want to have a regular cycle and ovulate. Is it best to just wait for my body to regulate itself? I asked me doctor but she was very unhelpful.

did you talk to an ob/gyn or just an MD. Taking the pill for a few months may help regulate ovualtion.

My doc.did put me on bc for 2 mnts and I started having irregular periods as soon as I got off so it didn't help me at all. Why don't u buy saliva test and start watching your ovulation and try that way? Instead of wasting 3 mnts and then try it. I made a mistake so I don't want anyone to repeat it.
And lot of people r saying here that u might get your period back after 2-3 mnts after u get off of bc.

my doc put me on the pill as soon as i came off depo, to regulate me. I am on it up to 3 months then he said i should be pretty normal! One month off and I am now ovulating!
