Trying to ascertain what transmission would compliment the LS7 505HP Corvette engine in a kit car.

Tremec T6060 - 6 speed manual

Its also in the Mustang GT500 and the new Viper. It replaced the old Tremec T56.

the zo6 is only avalible with a 6 speed stick ... reg vettes have a auto and manual both 6 speed ...
