There's no dictionary definition of it so i'm wondering if anyone knows its actual meaning. Gowp is used in the song "this is why i'm hot" by mims.

In NYC it means money. He's actually the only person that I've heard use it that way; as in "I paid a guap." People usually say "It cost a guap" or "I have a lot of guap." Basically instead of saying money u can say guap. It can be a little bit of money or a lot. In this case, MIMS paid a lot.

for the record.. MIMS used that WRONG because he's an idiot... we (in NY) say "get that gwop"... or.."i didn't do x, y and z this week because my gwop is tight"...

qowp is anotha word for money, like fetty, cash, cheddar, dough, dollars, when using qowp it is being refer to a lot ofmoney like a stacks of thousands
