Respect is simply treating people how you would want them to treat you. getting over prejudices and looking at them for their qualifications , not colors, not smells, not religion, not anything else. Not doing or saying things around people that you know don't like that kind of stuff. Respect is a general apperance of caring about what other people think of you and trying not to hurt feelings or offend people. There is a time and place for all things. Respect is learning where different things are appropriate.
you got to earn respect too.

It simply means treating anyone in the same manner you wish to be treated.
Politeness, consideration, warmth, humor.
You know -- like a human being?

It means treating others good, being nice. Doing things for them. Caring for them, helping them. Not talking to them in a bad way. Saying please, and thank you.*
