If you have to ask what to do to "make" your son feel better, you got it all wrong. You can't "make" him feel better any more than you can "make" the dog feel better.
If you truly did that, for absolutely no reason, you need to ask yourself why you felt the need to have your son experience that. As I've said before, "hurt people hurt others".
You have so many unresolved conflicts to deal with. Why don't you start praying that the Lord will make you a new creature? You need serious help with all that guilt and pain inside.
I'd start there -- then maybe your son will begin to develop trust in you. 'Cause right now, there isn't going to be any.
For a loooooooong time.

Damn!!! Why would you shoot his dog for no reason? Tell your son that you are sorry that you are one crazy, sick man. Or maybe you could lie to him and tell him the dog was dying or hurt or something. Can you give more info? Because I don't know why you would do it for no reason.

It sounds to me like you need some attention.If you really shot your son's dog in front of him you really need some serious attention!

Hey dude,
go pray right now that your boy is okay, lose the gun because someone somewhere will get hurt or killed. If you are a man that I actually doubt, well sort it out. For me to read sick comments like yours make me realize how precious my boys are to me and that I will do anything to protect them from situation's like yours. Come on man or mouse it´s your boy, make it right, you can do it.

tell him that you are sorry for being such a horrible hostile creature. oh and you can tell him to call the cops. i'm pretty sure shooting an animal is illegal.
