Due to the foolish contention by men that if a woman enjoys sex or better yet, making love, i have a little reticence answering; however, i am so much of a rebel that i dare to say the truth.

1. sex is the all time most wonderful gift that a man and woman can share. we have so many responsibilities as adults--there is absolutely nothing that feels as good as sex, and this prudishness in our culture is absurd. a man and woman should have sex as much as possible. sex is not dirty. sex is normal and healthy. making love is even better. it takes more time and care to make love--it is absolutely DELIGHTFUL.

2. i think men and women divorce (yes, it is so painful and terrible that many never are able to TRUST enough again to marry once more) for two reasons:

(a) they take one another for granted by not validating one another as a man and as a woman, and as a result, they disrespect one another, which causes arguments. on top of that, they do not make up before going to sleep! if only they just began to hug and kiss in bed, not even saying anything if they don't know the magic of the words "i'm sorry," the flow towards lovemaking and making up would happen naturally. then you go to sleep in quietude and peace and you have a fitful sleep that includes good dreams. you then have validated your love for your partner that way, so it's very likely that the next day will go much better for both of you.

(where did i learn that? my grandparents NEVER fought without making love that day/night, and they loved one another their entire lives).

(b) so many married people, men, in particular, do not bother to demand from their spouse to go to sex therapy and marriage counseling if they face difficulties having a normal sex life. and so instead, they believe that adultery will be the magic solution to their problems. it NEVER is the solution. not to be "religious," but the ten commandments just make good common sense. when a married/attached person does go to another sex partner, they will not act like they usually do with their partner, so the partner figures out that s/he cheated. it is in the way they talk and it's in their eyes: the mirror to the soul. s/he might or might not say that they know, but they do know. there is an astounding amount of emotional pain on the part of the partner that has been cheated on. the words that come to mind are: "why did you DO that to me?" it destroys the relationship, it destroys families, and it makes the man or woman that the partner cheated WITH feel used.

now, making love in thunderstorms:

mmmmmmmmm, what a beautiful thing to do! you can lie there in one another's arms listening as the storm comes in, talking softly to one another, whispering over the sound of the wind, taking in the magic of how the rain brings nourishment to the world so that all life is sustained.

why? because reproduction and the act that makes it happen is what's going on out there, everywhere, and the act of making love at any time, but a special time like that, one of rebirth and renewal to life, makes you show a true appreciation towards one another. your act of making love is perfectly natural, so it has to be so passionate, during a storm.

and then there are the wondrous sounds of thunder and the sight of lightening, along with that ozone smell, when the sky gets green, which is such a fresh, expectant smell. it is anticipatory, it makes you and your wife/husband/partner anticipate the splendor of making love, and so, how could it not be a special time, making love during a storm?

besides, is going to a mall really better? or grocery shopping? having a cup of java? nope: going to bed and enjoying one another during a storm has got to be far, far better, unless, of course, you are one of those sickos that thinks that sex is a dirty and ugly act. (and, may i say, if you are a man that has ED, why don't you just face it, see a urologist, and get the magic pills)?

and too, mmmmmmmm, if you just happen to be camping in a virgin forest--especially of fragrant pine trees--how can you go wrong?
