All these teams had pretty good records despite their lackluster WR core...

San Diego Chargers
Kansas City Chiefs
New England Patriots
Philadelphia Eagles
Chicago Bears

---

Vikings may not be loaded at WR by any means...

But they got some very good young talent

---

Sidney Rice - 6'4 possession WR who is gonna be a great redzone target

Aundrae Allison - Absolute steal at WR in the 5th round since many people had him ranked as a late 2nd early 3rd guy

Troy Williamson - Went to NIKE headquarters to help his vision and has caught over 13000 balls this offseason

Todd Lowber - Apparently ran a 4.11 in the 40, but even if he didn't... He is a heck of an athlete and if he can make the transition to football, he could be the next "Antonio Gates"

Bobby Wade - No star by any means... But a good solid receiver that atleast has some speed

Notice that the Chargers had a killer TE and a good QB, the Chiefs have a great TE, the Patriots have a great QB, the Eagles have a great QB, and the Bears had an amazing DEF.

The Vikings are going into the season with inexperienced WRs and the worst QB in the NFL. Tarvaris Jackson was projected as a 2nd day pick last year, now he is starting. Uh oh.

Something you are forgetting about in your comparisons. Chargers had a dominating RB and running game.
KC - same as Chargers, dominating RB and running game.
New England - a solid running game and a super star QB.
Eagles - good running game, good QB in McNabb, and a great all purpose RB like Westbrook.
Chicago - actually good set of WR, decent running game, but admittingly the Bears won with D.
Vikings - poor WRs, young-inexperienced-questionable QB, OK running game but nothing dominating, good run D but near the bottom in pass D

Woud agree with Sidney Rice - could be a excellent WR in the NFL in time
LOL.....Lowber ran a 4.11 ..... LOL .....maybe on a track, in shorts, wearing spikes, and a tornado at his back with some 150 mph winds
The rest Allison, Williamson, and Wade - all very iffy WRs and the bottom line, without good QB play, even Rice will struggle

San Diego had L.T. and Gates.
K.C. had L.J. and Gonzalez.
Pats had Dillon, Maroney, Watson, and Brady.
Iggles had Westbrook, Stallworth, McNabb, and Reggie Brown.
Bears had Thomas Jones, Berrian, and Muhammed.

Now, I agree that the Rooks will help this team out at the wideout position, but Tarvaris Jackson is not ready to be a full time starter yet. The Vikings needed to get a veteran leader at wideout to help all of the young guys figure out which way is up. Now that Peterson and Taylor have teamed up in the backfield, the Vikes should be set there for many years. But without a solid Tight End or a veteran Wideout, Jackson is going to struggle mightily.

I wouldn't call it worried but they are putting in a new QB in Tarvaris Jackson and without any veterans on the team I believe it will be a struggle for their offense this year... their D will be pretty steady though.

Those teams have talent in other areas to make up for poor receivers.
Chargers - Defense, TE, RB
Chiefs - TE, RB
Pats - QB, RB, Defense
Eagles - They werent that good either
Bears - RB, Defense

Everybody?... I don't care about what happens to the vikings. The most boring games in the NFL are played by MIN, DET and KC.

Because no one knows who they are. Maybe in a few year they will be good but they need a qb.
