NO!!! The problem with a percentage for shipping rate is as follows; if you take a box of bolts the same size as a box of cereal and ship them, the bolts will be far more expensive than the cereal, and the cost may be the same. You should base your shipping on actual cost, rather than try to estimate. Many on line shipping sources have a calculator you can use for free to get an exact quote, and even print your labels!

And, you can't legally do that. You're not allowed to make money on shipping. You should charge the actual shipping costs.
