all cases will be denied... usually at least 2 or 3 times. this weeds out the bad folks who just want to sit around & collect off the government... when nothing is wrong.
this is an everyday thing for the courts.. you are not the first. be relaxed & honest. take a deep breath & conquer the fear.
you will be fine.
best of luck to you. let me know how it goes.

The social security hearings are pretty informal. There will be a judge, a clerk who records everything, and maybe a doctor and vocational expert to answer questions about your file. Don't be nervous. It's not like some big criminal trial on TV. Most of the SSA judges are very professional, and understand that you are nervous.
If you don't have a lawyer, I very strongly suggest that you get one ASAP. The social security disability regulations are complex, but they can be used to your benefit by a good lawyer.

I went on permanent disability about 11 years ago and at first they denied it. I contacted my local congressman and they assisted me in my dealing with the Social Security Administration. Don't give up if you feel you are truly disabled.
I had to prove with doctor reports, test and etc, but with the help of a very concerned congressman it all worked out for me.
I didn't have to go before an appeal court because he and his dedicated staff helped me.
Good luck

Bums have ruined the system and thats sad. You wouldn't believe the jerks who apply just to see if they can get it. Happens daily and social workers are alot of the blame. Honestly your best best is an experienced lawyer and I wish you luck.

My wife was turned down also for her social security
disability. when she called them, they told her it may take up
to six months. Make a list of all your doctors and their reports
and and medications for your lawyer if you have one. My wife
hasn't had her apointment yet, so I cant go any farther to help
you. Be honest. Don't get angry or raise your voice and dress
appropriatly. First impressions may count for a last chance.

Take a Lawyer, trust me, don't go it alone. You will loose. There are many Lawyers that will go for FREE and only charge you when they WIN. You need an "expert" in this litigation. Good Luck -

definitely. And sure, welfare recipients, too. Communications and different infrastructures pay for themselves, socially-speaking. extra desirable performance in coping with documents and claims filings on my own could make a extensive decrease cost expenses in expenses. to no longer point out that folk shouldn't could desire to survive bread and water and devoid of entertainment, information, (and get admission to to job commercials!) in basic terms by way of fact they're getting advantages. And for people who think of that welfare, incapacity, and social risk-free practices recipients "do no longer paintings," the numbers of papers to filed, interviews, checkups, domicile visits, etc. required of many recipients may well be in basic terms approximately as much as an entire-time job! which does no longer flow away lots time for them to look for a job. The U.S. easily LOSES funds as quickly as we you have to be "no longer hassle-free" and lean on recipients harder ("penny clever and pound silly"). Being nasty and vicious easily expenses extra. even yet it extremely is morally incorrect. And while even a small share of the corporate welfare ought to assist many of the inhabitants for something of our lives! .
