i hope so. ive been using 16 of them in my home for 2 mo. now. they work great! power bill way down.

YES. You might need to buy the very-compact ones to be sure they fit inside the lamp's globe. The only potential problem would be if the ceiling fan has a light dimmer that does not do compact-fluorescent bulbs.

People People you can use the new flourescent buld... or CFL in ceiling fans and they now make them to work with dimmer switches as well... so you can have your lighting and enjoy it too... they even have special ones that you can use for 3 way lamps... read your packaging ;-) so go ahead and switch those bulbs and enjoy the savings

I have 8 ceiling fans and they all have the new bulbs in them. As stated, you cannot use a dimmer switch with then though.
