I got the same e-mail, forwarded from a relative. I gave it all of the attention it deserved, in other words I deleted it. Every time I get something like this, it makes me that much more interested in this candidate. If they are going this far out of their way to badmouth him, there must be something that scares them to death. To tell you the truth, that fascinates me!

His religious beliefs are irrelevant. How he acts and how he comports his life is relevant. I am a Christian who is finding myself disgusted with the religious ferocity coming mostly from the Christian right. The candidates that have a total Christian background and constantly brag about it make me sick to my stomach...ashamed to be called a Christian. Obama has shown me more Christ like actions than any of the evagelical garbage tossers. He is a good man and I dare anyone to show me anything of substance that will prove otherwise. He says he is a Christian...I believe him. He should not have to "prove" it to anyone!!!

The United Church of Christ is not to be confused with the "Church of Christ." The United Church of Christ, however, supports homosexual marriage, abortion, environmental justice, globalism, the International Criminal Court, the Palestinian movement and believes that Israel is illegally occupying the covenant land. The UCC seems to conveniently justify and legitimize his beliefs that social progressivism is equal to Christ and he writes in his memoirs that his own salvation was not an "epiphany." He reasoned after his daughter asked about life after death, "I wasn't sure what happens when we die, any more than I was sure where the soul resides or what existed before the Big Bang."
