1.5 to 2.5 years, although I had a friend who's hamster lived 12 years.

If you mean a Dwarf hamster, they can live up to 6 years in captivity. But most only last 3 years or so. They are cool though!

They can live up to 6 years, although, it is most common for them to live up to 3.
