if you have a motherboard (tyan tiger mpx) that supports PC1600/PC2100 ddr sdram, can you use pc100 memory instead?

No you can't... It's a different type of memory...

PC 1600/PC2100 are ddr rams,PC100/pc133 are plain ddr ram,i dont believe it wil lwork ,but im not 100% sure
