Let's say you have been stuck on the top of a fence for about 2 months now, so you're STARVING. On one side of the fence, there's an apple tree bout a mile away, but there's a crazy dog growlin away at you. U don't know this dog, but you know its bit you in the a** b4 when you were walking home. Now on the other side of the fence is another dog, happy as hell to see you. You know this dog pretty well, you've had some good times, but the dog's attacked you twice before verrrrry severely, but it was a long time ago and you survived. On this side though, the apple tree is only about 100 feet away. If you choose the growling dog's side, you are for sure going to be torn apart by him, but only up to a certain point, and you WILL survive. On the other side of the fence, the dog MUST walk alllll the way to the apple tree with you, BUT if he decides to attack, it will be far worse pain than if you picked the other side, but again, you don't know IF he'll attack.Which side do you pick??

Ok so the tree on the side with the angry dog is FULL of apples, but the side with the nice dog (that may turn on u) has a few apples, but enough.

My answer:
Tear off a piece of the fence and use it to beat whichever dog attacks me to death...
Problem solved.

Stuck on a fence for 2 MONTHS?!?

Apple tree = Job?
Growling dog you don't know, aggressive stranger who lives/works near that job.
you need to move, because you're stuck in a rut

other dog is someone you know, a friend, family member but you are having troubling times with them, but still, over-all you have more trust in them and know them better than the other "dog"

I'd go with them, even if they've hurt you before, it sounds like they probably didn't intend to, or they care about you but get angered for reasons.

I'd take the side with the angry dog. It's been a while since he bit you, maybe he doesn't do it any more. That tree is full of apples so you can climb in it and at least you'll have something to eat while you're waiting to be rescued in case the dog still bit you in the butt.

Seriously, what are you really asking?

You shouldn't ask questions like these, because they make no sense. I mean think about it, would you ever get stuck on a fence, so far away from your house that you'll be starving so much you'll have to pick apples off trees miles away from you. Also, what if the person you're asking this question is really good with animals, why would they get bitten at all ? Consider this for future reference, because wondering about these "What if ?" questions really has no point to it. Because that's the key word, "IF", it could happen, but probably never will....catch my drift ?

Hmm. If I have been stuck on the fence for two months without dying of starvation, then I could easily stick it out another two months!

BUT if I had to make A choice I would try to remember it is only a dog and since it looks like you are going to get bitten either way from what you state, then run as fast as the dog and go for the shorter distance.

throw a stick as far as you can for the dog in the side of the tree 100 feet away so the dog can go get it,and when or if he does run as fast as you can to the tree and climb the tree, you should then be safe there.but stuck in a fence for 2 months ummm i believe thats just an example right

I'd take the dog I know. I'd hope for the bst but since I know this dog I'd be sure to watch his behavior so that I might be able to better protect myself in case of an attack.

Everyone deserves a second chance. No reason to chose the growling dog and accept sure pain when there is a chance I could come out painfree on the other side.

I pick the dog that's happy as hell to see you. He's in a good mood, and the apple tree is so much closer. This dog is a lot older now, you're starving, and you can run the 100 feet with him like it's a game and he's your buddy. And when you get to the tree, you can throw him an apple to sink his teeth into.

Since Happy Dog will not attack (maybe) until I reach sustinance (apple tree), then I would choose that pass because there is no sense in sweating what might happen.
The other side with Mean Dog is more problematic as I am STARVING with a mile to go Mean Dog may actually kill me before I make it to the apple tree.
I would take my chances with Happy Dog.

I'd probably chose the apple tree about a mile away. You stated that the dog has only bit you in the a**. I'd rather get bit in the a** a couple times, than getting severely attacked once.

i think i'd pick the happy dog that only might attack, because i'd rather have a chance at surviving unscathed than know that i will end up in pain. There's always going to be a chance of getting hurt in life, so why not take a risk with the possibility of happiness. If you don't take the risk and you go with the dog that will for sure attack you instead, you know your going to end up hurt.
