At what point does a conflict deserve the label "civil war?"

But most know it is pretty ugly over there. I'm glad Saddam is gone but a whole new set of problems arose. So the question is, "What should we do now?"

If we cut & run, things will only get worse. Massacres & bloodshed.

But how long do we stay?

It's a mess over there, no doubt about it. But I don't trust the liberals to handle it appropriately, either.
