Particularly for postgraduate music degrees. I might prefer medium-sized towns and I'd like to be surrounded by a city that is renowned for artistic creativity, cultural richness, and one that is generally not known for recent increase in focus on material wealth. Much less importantly, friendlier weather and traditionally high value on the sport of football with a fiery side that are fun to go and see. Thanks!

Limerick. UL has a World Music Centre and does a postgrad degree, but I don't know any more about that.

But what many people don't know is that Limerick city is a hotbed of the arts. There's lots happening ... painting exhibitions, 2 official arts centres, performances, film, dance, plenty to keep you interested.
