yes!sometimes with some people on here, i feel like i've known them all my life!!i've met some fantastic people!

No. I do have one friend that I met online about 6-7 years ago. He lives in England and we've been very good friends. He's even come to visit us once.
I also met my husband online. We've been together for 6 years, married about 4 1/2.
All that being said, it's easy to think you know someone after a long time, but do we every really know anybody at all?

It can feel like that sometimes. A week can seem like a long time on Yahoo Answers so imagine six weeks. But that's because people are bonding and sharing life with one another when they are talking to each other on here.

that's how answers feels. I wanted to ask if anyone remembers the "long avatars" but realized that was only a few months ago. LOL. The sad thing is that probably not many people would remember them... High turnover I guess.

No, the people I go way back with as far as the internet goes are people I "met" months ago...almost a year ago :)

Not me. But I know people who have been only internet friends for 10years or more and have never met or communicated any other way.
