Woke up: that made my daughter happy, and her bus driver happy too because she was on time. Showered: that made everyone I encounter today happy. Came to work: that made 1) my boss happy; 2) my husband happy b/c I'm contributing $$. Shared contact info with a new friend and invited her over for a glass of wine in the near future: made both of us happy. It's just after 10 am and I've made at least 7 people happy (granted, the showering thing is a bit of a stretch since I do it everyday).
The question to you is: is spreading joy the same as spreading happiness?

I called and talked to my granddaughter that just got out of the hospital.
I spent a couple of hours with my grandson who just turned one year old.
