Should Jonathan Castillo be given the death penalty for destroying a little girl's life? Comestic surgery has been necessary to repair the girl. Does this crime cross the threshold of what is allowable by even liberal's standards? SHould he be deported? GIven an honoary degree from Harvard or NYU? Will liberals have him over to Woooooooooooooooooork in their homes? Will liberals invite him to their daughter's sleep overs? I guess the simple response would be "yes, if he is found guilty of these crimes, then capital punishment is certainly a great choice". I think we have to remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but I agree with most people here that such crimes against children should carry much much heavier punishments.
A society is measured, among other things, by how it protects its young even from its own members, and sometimes I think we are not doing a very good job at that, looking at the lenient punishments criminal convicted of crimes against children are given.

Everyone has rights in this country, or at least they used to, no matter how much you looney cons try to disallow them. Is what he allegedly did wrong? Certainly. But should we just bypass the legal system and put him in a hole? Absolutely not. IF he is found guilty, then he should be repeatedly sodomized with foreign objects of varying shapes and sizes, beaten, burned, shot, pissed on, tarred and feathered and hung up for all to see. Death is too quick and easy. But only after the legal system has proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is guilty.

Do not deport him when he has done such a brutal crime against the child. Do not put him in protective custody. Do not do to him what he has done to her. keep him alive to face the child's judgment when she has come through her spiritual healing. let him face her words even at his old age. he will only know forgiveness if the child will give it. Her words will add to the laws for the penalty of such an assault of thievery

I will never understand how people can hurt children. I absolutely agree. I think he should be given the death penalty. If these disgusting guys want to have sex so bad they should hire a prostitute, not rape these poor children or women and it works both ways for women who are just as disgusting.

You sound like a clear thinker. Oh, yes indeed he should die swiftly, surely, and in as painful a manner possible. The liberals will surely be there to stand up for his "rights". It may just be me, but I somehow thought the Constitution was written for us citizens, and not illegal invaders. Just one suggestion...put him in a hole on Mexican soil. Putting someone to death for such a crime is not
enough. He should be imprisoned at a hard labor
camp and worked to death.

How about we just cut it off of him (his manhood) as well as his arms (at the elbows) and his legs from the knees down. Then send him back to Mexico so he can tell all of his banditos this is what happens if you mess up in the USA.

well lets look at it this way.. what if we deport him and he only serves a few years in his country and set free. .. maybe the best thing would be to just keep him here for the 100 years .. stick his butt in prison .. regular prison.. no confining him to a cell by him self... don't think he will last to long.. unless the cell mates around him keep him around just for the fun of it.. personally i think he deserves it

A definite YES...I can't think of a greater crime-put him out of his misery. His lawyer will fight for his life and protect his Civil Rights...What about the rights for his victim...............
