Oh so do I. It's most odd and then I have to leave.

i notice i get that in some shops but not others.
and i didn't start getting it until in the 90's.
at the same time, a lot of other people were complaining about getting panic attacks while in shops, especially supermarkets.
those shops are set up purposefully to make you 'panic buy'
as in buy on impulse.
they are over stimulating you with the lights, and all the ads, and colours, and disorganised shelfing on purpose so you have to hunt to find things you want. the set up of the stalls, shelves makes you feel trapped.
so of course panic is a natural reaction to that.
as in 'get me the heck out of here'
the set up makes it become crowded with people to make it look like more customers. the tricks go on and on.
i think they backfire personally, but these shops don't seem to catch on how much they must be loosing from people rushing out buying nothing, or from avoiding the shop altogether.
i know some shops do spray different odours that are stimulating to people. they did lots of research on smells that are pleasant to people, and then use the fake version, of that smell to try to create the same pleasantness. i am fairly sure some shops even spray some sort of hormonal chemicals around.
it may also be the cleaners they use.
i'm quite sensitive to chemicals, so i can tell, when something has been sprayed around, that effects people.

I used to work at a retail store and right before Christmas they would change all the light bulbs in the store, or change out the lighting fixtures, and I would get all crazy and panicky for about a week. Other people had really bad headaches for a little while. So maybe it's the lights. Either that or you're scared of perfume saleswomen.

Maybe you have panic attacks or maybe you should be checked for allergies.
I haven't seen a Woolworth in years. I used to get ice cream sundaes at Woolworth's as a child when I walked to town to bring my newspaper receipts in.

keep in mind it wasnt the alcohol it became the alcoholic that has positioned trauma on your existence. every time you hear that cork come out or that sound of beer being being guzzled or regardless of triggers those feeling proceed to change those strategies with extra functional ones. at last your thought technique will replace. i think of this is a actual stable attitude you got here up with.

I don't think its the AC, its probably in your head.
At one time I suspected that my local movie theater was making me nauseous. Looking back, I think it was a combination of too much instant coffee and Fabreze (don't ask, I know it sounds weird).
You need to look into yourself to evaluate the source of your anxiety. Calm down, it will be OK.

No, its being surrounded by all those people hungry for a bargain and all taking the oxygen you need. Shop in local stores instead.
