This building has no address listed, and i am trying to get information to buy or rent the space...who would i contact to get information on this building, it has been closed for about 7-8 years??? County ***. said they need the physical address?? Anyone Know...im in nashville, tn is that helps

write down addresses of nearby properties. maybe make a map as well. Then check the tax assessor's maps.

with the address of nearby properties, you should get to the correct tax map and can then find the property you are interested in. [Might even be online.]

Tax assessor also knows who the recorded owner is and its/his address, plus the likely info needed for the property transfer office [land records? court clerk?] to look up when last sold, liens on property, etc.

Nashville actually has an easy to use website at http://www.nashville.gov/mpc/property/ where you can search for a parcel by location, and then find out who the owner is. It helps if you are familiar with using such sites, but they are easy enough for almost anyone to figure out. You need to find the zoom in and out functions (little magnifying glasses across the top) and the identify function (letter i ).

I just tried it out and took about 2 minutes to find out who owned three different parcels in the county.
