I have an old nissan micra 1 l k10 and some times not all, changing gears is a real struggle, I normal re-depress the clutch and its fine, I had a new clutch fitted 12 months ago so I cant be that. some days there is not a problem, yet today its been an ****

Either a clutch adjustment is necessary or the shift cable needs adjusting or replacing.

Do not assume it can not be the clutch because it could. 12 months is a long time if you are not real good with a clutch or you have let others drive your car. Many places check this stuff out for free or at minimal charge. it may only need to be tightened.

i might want to have it appeared at before you replace the cable. maximum cables might want to be adjusted in about 5 minutes. you also could have a synchonization problem contained in the transmission making it confusing to shift. Haveht take carry of cable adjusted and be conscious if that makes a huge difference. sturdy success and satisfied Revving.

if you mean changing from one gear to another, that gear could be going out of it or already out.
