I do not believe it will be canceled, as long as the hosts can still continue to express their views. It was my understanding Rosie was going to guest star on The View. It appears that has changed now. I think she will be missed more then most people realize. I am going to miss her.

I'm thinking the same thing. Let's face it, good bad or indifferent Rosie is the one that has brought most of the ratings to that show. That is why it is up for an Emmy. She's going to be a hard act to follow after she is gone unless they get someone as fiery as Rosie as replacement. Whoopi Goldberg or Roseanne could fit the bill & keep the attraction, but I don't see it ever being the same again. I look for Elizabeth to leave for good soon after Rosie for maternity leave and just not coming back afterwards.
The show has been on for 10 years it's had a good run. I see major changes though. If the show is not cancelled it will be pre-recorded & pre-empted on a regular basis.
I'm sure as we speak Barbara is laying down the law as to what hot topics can be discussed now & what can't, so something like this doesn't happen again.

One can only hope! This show has long outlived its usefulness or any entertainment value.
Biggest mistake they ever made was to bring Rosie O'Donnell back. Just a bunch of arrogant
celebrities who like to mouth off abut all sorts of topics. Who cares what they think about anything
anymore. Used to like Rosie when she just wanted to entertain - now she just a big mouth bully.
I watch ABC Channel 7 in the morning for GMA and Kelly and Michael and Rachel Ray - good start to the day. But when 11 o'clock rolls around I can't reach the dial fast enough to change to The Price is Right.

When Rosie leaves I bet she takes a lot of viewers with her(ME included!) They really need to get rid of Elizabeth...that woman couldnt hold a thought with a bucket and 2 hands! They need someone like Roseanne or Nancy Grace on there. Rosie brought some excitement to the show. They are gonna have to find someone to bring that excitement back once rosie leaves.
If not then It probably will be cancelled.
Too many people enjoy the "heated discussions"
Even the people who dont like Rosie watch that show to find out whats gonna happen next.

Let's face it... the only reason the majority of the people are even talking about the View is b/c of Rosie.... even though her remarks have offended so many.... They'll need to replace her with someone as outspoken BUT willing to at least hear the other side of the argument. Otherwise... no one cares enough to watch 4 women sitting around a table all talking at once.....

It probably will. I'm kind of getting tired of it anyways. Have you ever noticed how the five women are always cutting off the celebrities when they're talking? I was watching it when Apolo (Dancing With the Stars) and when David Boreanaz was on there. I kept getting interested in what they were saying and then someone interrupted them. I hate that! Plus, the whole Rosie thing is just getting annoying. They will probably find someone even more annoying than her.

its been on for 10 years already, so i doubt it will be cancelled...ever since rosie has came on the show, they ave got more viewers and higher rates including me, i just startd watching this show about a month ago lol
when rosie is gone in June, i hope they find someone like her, someone who brings a lot of entertainment to the show, otherwise, i wont watch it anymore, its too boring w/o rosie, even tho i dont agree with everything she says, she still makes the show entertaining and brings out a lot out of all the other women on the show too lol

I wish! The tv show is run by a bunch of left wing lovers and they like to hear their own voices, Rosie and Whoopi...retire already and let someone with positive outlooks have a chance to speak!

It was so boring with brain dead Meredith, and Rosie really got some action going. If today's episode is a taste of what's to come, I won't waste my time. Today's show was worse than Rachel Ray's

I don't think they'll cancell it, but it will be a challenge to replace Rosie. I'd like to see Rosanne Barr.
