I know you asked this question of senior women, but I would like to wieght in. Viagra is a wonderful drug. and it has more uses than the most obvious. (Doctors recommend it some men after prostate cancer treatment to increase the blood flow to the penis long before it time to resume sexual intercourse).
As for what sr. women think about viagra, let me share some "2nd hand info" (as a "retired ladies man" I still keep in touch with a few of lady friends) from personal knowledge and current public information.
Pros: It has given many marriages a much need "spark". As people naturally age, men tend to need more help than women becoming fully aroused and ready (erections firm enough for penertration). Failures to have & maintain an erection can lead to disappointment & fustration for both parties, even leading some men to stop trying altogether. And remember, there are so many cause for erectile dysfunction. So in this case if viagra works, it's a "miracle".
Con: Sometimes it works too well. And eithier older wives can't "keep up" w/ their new stud, or Mr. "Performance Enhanced Man" is now looking for a little young side action to see just how good he is. Apparently quite a bit of this is going on. Because the fastest growing sub group in America becoming infected w/ the HIV virus is senior citizens according to recent stats. And Viagra & other drugs like it are one of a few factors behind this surge. Playing w/ the young girls, then going back home. So in this case a "hex".

We aren't there yet. I do have an opinion though. I think it is wrong for the government to be paying for this pill, when they don't provide birth control pills for free to young women.

dont take it unless really necessary
tried it with the 1st husband but it didnt solve everything...cant get into the gory details....his attitude stunk and no hormones..
