Barack Obama is not a Muslim. He got married in a Christian church. He attends and is a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. His parents separated when he was only 2 and he barely knew his Muslim father.
As for your question, I give you the words of John F, Kennedy who said
"I believe in a President whose religious views are his own private affair, neither imposed by him upon the nation or imposed by the nation upon him as a condition to holding that office."

Get your facts straight! Barack Obama is not a Muslim. He did go to a Muslim school in Indonesia but he is not a Muslim.
What you should be asking is "Are we ready to have a Mormon as president?".
